The Kingdom of Bahrain has issued a strong condemnation of a hostile drone attack launched against the United Arab Emirates on Monday. Officials described the incident as a blatant infringement on the UAE’s sovereignty and a perilous escalation that jeopardizes the stability and security of the entire region.
According to the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the strike is a direct violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles of good-neighborliness. The government specifically cited UN Security Council Resolution 2817 (2026) as being contravened by the act of aggression.
In an official statement, Bahrain expressed its complete solidarity with the UAE, pledging full support for any measures taken by Emirati authorities to defend their territorial integrity, protect their citizens and residents, and maintain national security.
Furthermore, Bahrain has urged the UN Security Council to exercise its mandate by taking immediate and decisive action. The kingdom called for the council to compel Iran to adhere to international legal standards, halt hostile activities that endanger regional peace, and ensure the freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and other critical waterways to help de-escalate ongoing tensions.
