In a post on the “X” platform, Sheikh Mohammed extended a welcome to Syrian President Ahmed Al Sharaa, who was in Dubai as a guest of the Arab Media Summit. He expressed his happiness at seeing Syria return to a path of development and progress, stating his optimism about the country reclaiming its deserved position on the global stage.
Sheikh Mohammed further described Syria as a cradle of civilization and conveyed his hope for the continued strengthening of profound and lasting relations between the two friendly peoples.
