Scammers frequently lure applicants with promises of high salaries and expedited hiring processes. These actors often demand upfront fees or request sensitive personal and banking information under the guise of processing employment paperwork.
MOHRE clarifies that all legitimate job offers in the UAE must strictly utilize the official MOHRE-approved job offer template.
Every authentic document is issued with a unique serial number, represented by a barcode. Job seekers are encouraged to use this barcode to verify the legitimacy of their offer through official MOHRE platforms before proceeding.
The ministry urges candidates not to pay money, transfer funds, or share personal details until they have confirmed the offer is authentic.
Beyond employment fraud, Dubai Police has issued warnings regarding fake part-time job scams and fraudulent consumer protection websites.
In a related enforcement action, two women were recently arrested in the Philippines in connection with a fake Dubai jobs scam.
