UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Receives King Abdullah II in Abu Dhabi

King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan arrived in Abu Dhabi today, marking the beginning of a fraternal visit aimed at strengthening the deep-rooted strategic relationship between the two nations.

Upon his arrival, the Jordanian monarch was greeted by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The two leaders are expected to engage in high-level discussions regarding bilateral cooperation and various regional stability issues.

The welcoming ceremony was attended by a high-ranking delegation from the UAE, including Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs.

Also present to receive the King were Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President, along with a number of other senior Emirati officials.

King Abdullah II is accompanied by a distinguished delegation on this visit. The group includes Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, who are joined by several other senior officials from the Hashemite Kingdom.

The visit underscores the ongoing commitment between the UAE and Jordan to coordinate on matters of mutual interest and maintain regional security through continued diplomatic dialogue and strategic alignment.
