Long before she assumed a prominent role as a White House aide to President Donald Trump, Natalie Harp maintained a prolific social media presence defined by extreme devotion to the president. An examination of her now-removed account on X, formerly known as Twitter, reveals that she authored more than 150 posts on January 6, 2021, alone. During that day, she repeatedly urged followers to “FIGHT FOR TRUMP” as the president began his speech near the White House, while simultaneously echoing claims that the 2020 election had been stolen.
Harp’s digital activity on that date served as a public declaration of fealty, characterizing the president and his political allies in heroic terms. David B. Cohen, a political science professor at the University of Akron who specializes in the American presidency, described her as a “totally loyal sycophantic adviser and staffer” for Trump, noting that the president favors such reverence. Neither Harp nor the White House provided comments when asked about these findings.
On the morning of the Capitol attack, Harp—who then worked as a host for One America News Network and identified as a member of Trump’s advisory board—shared messages from the president’s family, including declarations that “this movement will never, ever die.” As a 29-year-old, she praised the demonstrators gathering for the president’s speech as “patriots,” challenging lawmakers to demonstrate a “fraction of the courage & passion” shown by the crowd while declaring, “today we STOP THE STEAL!”
Her posts included promotion of Rudy Giuliani’s “trial by combat” rhetoric, though Giuliani’s legal team later characterized the remark as hyperbolic rather than an incitement to violence. As the president spoke, Harp live-tweeted his address, including the phrase “FIGHT FOR TRUMP!” a dozen times in a single post. Following the breach of the US Capitol, she shared content suggesting that the rioters were not genuine Trump supporters and circulated unverified claims that Antifa had infiltrated the mob, before later sharing the president’s calls for the crowd to disperse.
Harp’s alignment with the president’s narrative extended well beyond that single day. In the weeks leading up to the riot, she had warned followers that “January 6th is coming!!” and labeled Joe Biden’s election victory as “A COUP” on December 14. Her history of support dates back to at least 2016, and she frequently utilized religious language to defend the president, including during his 2019 impeachment, when she posted Bible verses asking God to “vindicate” him and plead his cause against an “unfaithful nation.”
Following the congressional disruption on January 6, Harp continued to praise Republican lawmakers who challenged the electoral results, specifically naming Rep. Jody Hice, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Josh Hawley. She also lauded the six senators who voted to sustain objections to the electoral count—Ted Cruz, Hawley, Cindy Hyde-Smith, John Kennedy, Roger Marshall, and Tommy Tuberville—as patriots who remained steadfast in the fight. The following day, she affirmed her continued loyalty, posting, “We love you, President @realDonaldTrump!”
While Harp has largely operated out of the public eye during her tenure as a second-term aide, she recently gained attention after Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff mentioned her during a speech criticizing the president. Furthermore, the Daily Beast recently reported on letters attributed to Harp that express her profound personal loyalty to the president, reinforcing the pattern of devotion observed in her earlier social media activity. The report also notes that after Trump publicly acknowledged that a new administration would take office, Harp shared his message that “our incredible journey is only just beginning.”, the following day. The report also notes that harp’s apparent devotion to Trump’s election lie narrative didn’t begin on January 6, 2021 ’s review. The report also notes that “Trump likes that, he doesn’t like to be questioned. The report also notes that and she clearly does that, he likes to be revered. The report also notes that hours after the Capitol attack forced Congress to halt the electoral count, Harp again amplified Giuliani, quoting his statements that the disruption had created “a few more options particularly with this delay” and that Trump’s legal team was working on “how we can take advantage of those options,” adding an American flag emoji. The report also notes that fight for our beloved country & @POTUS.”. The report also notes that x 71 million,” Harp posted days after the election results.
