Dr. Anwar Bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, has formally addressed and dismissed recent misinformation circulating online. On Wednesday morning, he clarified that allegations suggesting the UAE is cancelling employee work permits or extending financial aid to Iran are entirely baseless. He characterized these claims as the product of desperate media campaigns aimed at spreading false narratives about the nation.
Writing on the X platform, Gargash emphasized that the UAE remains steadfast in its focus on navigating regional developments and preparing for future challenges. He noted that while certain platforms continue to propagate inaccuracies, the country’s strategy for countering such misinformation relies on demonstrating tangible accomplishments and substantial, concrete actions. According to Gargash, these genuine achievements serve as the most effective response to unfounded rumors.
He further reiterated that reports regarding the termination of work permits or the provision of financial facilities to Iran are inaccurate and stem from ineffective media efforts. By prioritizing meaningful action, the UAE continues to ensure that facts and significant national progress overshadow any attempts to mislead the public through fabricated stories.
