China’s Zhejiang province boosts tourism ties with UAE and

China’s Zhejiang Province has officially established the Culture and Tourism Middle East Promotion Center in Dubai. This new platform aims to strengthen cultural and tourism exchanges while expanding strategic cooperation between Zhejiang, the United Arab Emirates, and the wider Middle East region.

Hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, the official launch ceremony and subsequent industry networking event gathered more than 60 representatives. Attendees hailed from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other Middle Eastern markets, representing the tourism, business, education, and related commercial sectors.

Strengthening Regional Collaborations

Key dignitaries and representatives joined the official unveiling of the promotion center, including officials from the Consulate General of China in the UAE, the China Cultural Center in the UAE, Zhejiang’s local tourism sector, and various regional industry partners. During the event, participating Zhejiang tourism enterprises presented specialized itineraries covering cultural discovery, ecological leisure, business travel, technology, and innovation to provide fresh travel experiences for Middle Eastern visitors.

Moving forward, the Dubai-based center is set to support diverse initiatives spanning culture, tourism, sports, and educational travel, creating new pathways for people-to-people exchange and deeper bilateral collaboration.
