Actors Afran Nisho and Tama Mirza are reportedly preparing for their third on-screen collaboration. Multiple sources indicate that the duo has been cast in a new film project scheduled for release during the upcoming Durga Puja festival. The project, which is currently untitled, is slated to be directed by Vicky Zahed, marking his debut as a feature film director.
Despite these reports, director Vicky Zahed denied the claims when contacted by last Sunday. He stated that the information is inaccurate, noting that he is currently focused on his project titled ‘Pulsirat’. However, several reliable sources associated with the production maintain that the film is moving forward, with shooting involving Nisho and Mirza expected to commence this August.
Preparations for the film are well underway, with script reading sessions for the lead cast scheduled to begin within the next few days, followed by the start of production in Dhaka. While an official announcement is still pending, production teams have already made significant progress. Like their previous ventures ‘Surongo’ and ‘Dagi’, this new film is being produced by Alpha-i.
